Their Challenge

iCopyright of Seattle offers tens of thousands of published articles a day for sale through its licensing service, but had no way to aggressively inform users of articles that might be of interest. It needed an automated tool to help push sales.

Our Solution

Ideograph LLC software developers designed and built Clip&Copy, a news-clipping service that allows users to register interest in topics on the web, using search strings similar to those on popular sites like Google. On a daily, weekly, or monthly basis — or, for a monthly fee, as stories are published or via an RSS feed — they receive custom e-mail summaries generated from articles that meet their search criteria. Statistics on which articles are most popular are collected in a database, and made available to the articles' publishers on a secure website.
