Microsoft Tech Writing and Training Sessions

Technical writing for the Microsoft Developer Network, and scripts for class sessions teaching Windows technologies.

The Client

Aporia Technologies

Their Challenge

Aporia Technologies, a small consulting firm based in Washington, trains software developers in cutting-edge technologies for firms like Microsoft. They write teaching materials on new libraries and methodologies, design class sessions, write technology demos, and give webcasts. Sometimes business is too good, though, and Aporia finds itself with more short-term deliverables than it can handle.

Our Solution

Aporia hired Ideograph to research and write eight technical white papers on migrating from PHP web applications to ASP.NET for the Microsoft Developers Network (MSDN), covering a diverse set of topics.

Ideograph later designed three class sessions, including working demonstrations, for evolving technologies like ClickOnce deployment and the then-upcoming Visual Studio 2005 Team System.
